The track was built as a drag strip in the late 50s. A 1/4 mile dirt oval replaced the dragstrip. Between 2001 and 2002, the oval was expanded to the current 3/8 mile tri-oval. The track did not operate in 2005.

The track has previously operated as Oak Level Raceway.
