Genoa City Project was an attempt at building a multi purpose racing facilty just outside of Genoa City, Wisconsin, between Chicago, Milwaukee, Madison, and Rockford. The facility would have included a dragstrip, and oval track, and a road course. The project was initiated by the owners of Brainerd International Raceway in 1988, but the effort stalled in the early 90s due to local opposition.
