Battleground Speedway is a complex consisting of a 1/8 high banked clay oval and a 3/8 mile high banked dirt oval, located near Highland, Texas.
The track shut down in mid 2006 after a couple of races. Future plans are unknown.

The 3/8 mile oval opened on March 31st, 1984, operating through 2001. It reopened briefly from 2004 to 2006 under the name Highland Motor Speedway, changing name back to Battleground Speedway just before closing again. The 1/8 mile oval operated in 1999.

Highlands Motor Speedway is on the west side of Main Street (N. Crosby Lynchburg Road, CR-2100) a short distance north of the intersection with Commerce Road. This latter intersection is the one marked on the Yahoo! Map.
