Music City Motorplex is an 5/8 mile paved oval with 18 degree banking, located on the Tennessee State Fairgrounds in Nashville. Drag racing is sometimes held on the straights of the big oval.

The original 1 mile dirt oval opened on June 14th, 1904, one year after the first race at The Milwaukee Mile. This track operated until September 20th, 1941, and reopened after WWII on September 21st, 1946, operating through September 21st, 1957. A 1/2 mile semi-banked paved oval opened on August 10th, 1958, operating through 1968. The 1/4 mile paved oval operated from 1958 through 2002. The 1/4 mile figure 8 course operated in 1963. The expanded 5/8 mile oval opened on on July 25th, 1970, operating until 1972, when it was judged that the 35 degree banking dangerously steep. The banking was reduced to 24 degrees for the 1973 season. Drag racing on the straights started in 2005.
The track has also operated as Fairgrounds Speedway at Nashville, Cumberland Park, Fairgrounds Speedway, Nashville Speedway USA, Nashville International Speedway, Nashville Motor Speedway and Nashville Speedway.
