Convair Field

Convair Field was the site of a temporary airport road course and a 1/4 mile dragstrip. The site is now Queen City Municipal Airport near Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Historical Note

The facility was originally used by Convair to assemble aircraft during WWII. A 1.58 mile road course operated here on October 28th, 1951 and August 3rd, 1952. A 1/4 mile dragstrip operated from May 15th, 1955 through 1956.
