Ballston Spa Fairgrounds is the site of a 1/4 mile paved oval which is currently used for karts by the Adirondack Karting Association.
The fairgrounds once featured a large, lopsided horse track, and for a time a 1/2 mile dirt oval for sprint cars.

Autos raced on a 1/2 mile dirt oval here on September 3rd, 1932 and September 8th, 1940 (both of which would likely have been during the annual county fair), and possibly dates in between. The 1/4 mile paved oval was used for mini trucks in 1999.
