Club Motorsports is a controversial project within the community of Tamworth. Progress towards construction has been very slow, with the project still buried in the permit phase. It missed its original projected opening of late summer 2004, and a case involving Town wetlands permits was heard in New Hampshire Supreme Court in April of 2007. Construction has finally started.
