Southern Thunder Speedway is a 1/4 mile dirt oval located near Taylorsville, North Carolina.
The track did not open for 2005, and has remained closed. Future plans are unclear.

The track opened in 1985, operating through 1991. It reopened from 1993 to 1999, and again from 2001 to 2004.
It has also operated as Taylorsville Speedway and New Taylorsville Speedway.
