Historical Note

Jacksonville Speedway operated from 1952 until 11/6/1964. It hosted NASCAR Grand National twice, in 1957 and 1964. The story of the two races are told in Silent Speedways (see references).

Some remants of the track were present in 2007 according to Silent Speedways.
