Kansas City was the site of the Folly Classic Vintage Grand Prix, a vintage race with SCCA supporting races, in 1983-84. It was held on a temporary course set up on the city streets and park roads around Liberty Memorial, adjacent to Union Station and Crown Center, in Kansas City, MO. Proceeds from the event went to the renovation of Kansas City's historic Folly Theater.
