Middle Creek Country Club was a proposal for a multi-purpose motorsports facility by a consortium of businessmen and SCCA members from the Kansas City area, to be located near Louisburg, approximately 30 miles south of Overland Park, KS. It was to consist of two separate road-race tracks (1.6 miles and 2.2 miles) that could be combined to form a 3.8 mile circuit, and a kart track. It was intended to offer country-club style lapping and performance driving opportunities and hold SCCA and marque-club racing.
The track failed to obtain the necessary special use permits in 2005 and the facility will not be built in Miami County. The consortium apparently plans to investigate other potential sites in the area.
