Chanute Field was the site of a temporary airport circuit used by the SCCA briefly in the 50s. It was a SAC base located in Rantoul, Illinois, and is now the Rantoul National Aviation Center. Today the site is used for SCCA Solo events.

The course was used from June 14th, 1953 to June 13th, 1954.
