Historical Note

This track has also operated under the names Gordon Park Speedway, Augusta Motor Speedway and Silver Eagle Speedway.

Longtime owner Bill "Catfish" Reece passed away in 2005. The new promotor, Lenny Hobbs, changed the name from Gordon Park Speedway to The New Gordon Park Speedway for 2006.
