Dover International Speedway (aka "The Monster Mile") is a 1 mile oval with 24 degree banking, located near Dover, Delaware.

The first race at Dover Downs was held July 6th, 1969. The original surface was asphalt. It was converted to concrete before the 1995 season. Downs was dropped from the name in 2002.
