Toronto Motorsports Park is a complex consisting of a 1/4 mile IHRA dragstrip which has been operated for quite some time and a fairly new multi-configuration road course. The main circuit (3km) and club circuit (1.8km) use the dragstrip, and it may be possible to operate the 1.2km training circuit at the same time as the dragstrip.
New: 2006-01-17
Toronto Motorsports Park started out in 1955 as Kohler Dragstrip, operating on sundays on the Kohler Airstrip. Under the name Super Boss Dragstrip it joined the NHRA in 1967. The track subsequently operated as 1320 Dragway and Dragway Park, before joining the IHRA in 1992 under the name Cayuga Motorsports Park. The track switched back to NHRA in 1998, and then back to IHRA for 2001. In 2001, the track changed to the current name. The road course is scheduled to start operations in 2006.
