Historical Note

The track opened in 1968, operating until 1974. It reopened in 1982. It has previously operated as Williston Speedway, McKay Speedway, and Miramichi Speedway, and in conjunction with sort-of nearby Miramichi Dragway Park under the name Douglastown Speedways.
