A 1/2 mile dirt oval operated here from roughly 1949 through 1951. The 5/8 mile dirt oval opened around 1974, operating through 1989. It reopened from 1991 to 1994 and from 1997 to 2001. An effort to revive the track in 2003 appears to have gone nowhere as it disappears from the National Speedway Directory. The track has been run once a year since June 2017 for the Gordon Russell Senior memorial race.
