NASA sanctions road racing and apparently some drag racing in the United States. Oval track racing may be added to their offerings at some point in time.

The National Auto Sport Association is a relatively new professional Road Racing sanctioning body which split off from the California-based Capri Club in 1991. Although it started out as a West Coast Club, chapters have sprung up in other parts of the country and NASA clearly plans further expansion.
